What’s up friends and family!
It's been a minute since I've written an email. I
would say I'll do better next time, but this is going to be the last email I
write as a missionary. I have one more p-day and I'll be busy packing to go
home the next day so this is going to be it. I've never been one to write a ton
and that's not going to change today, but I do want to take a moment to share
some things that I've seen, felt and learned as a result of serving a mission
for my Savior, Jesus Christ, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day
Saints. First and foremost I have felt an outpouring of Heavenly Father's love
for me and ALL His children. I know God lives and loves all of His children. He
has a perfect plan that will enable us all to live with Him again. Jesus Christ
is real, He lives. If we come unto Him He can make our lives the most joyful,
fulfilling, and rewarding. Any struggle or challenge you face no matter how
small or how big He understands. He felt and experienced all of these things in
order to be able to comfort us and strengthen us when we ourselves face these
experiences. I've seen real people face real challenges and real
struggles. Life is hard. No one will be exempt from their own personal trials.
More importantly I've seen how Jesus Christ and His teachings, found both in
the Book of Mormon and the Bible, are able to comfort, strengthen, heal and
help these people to find joy during their trials. I've even seen them overcome
these trials and I know that it was only through the Savior that it was
possible. God's power, his priesthood is here on the earth today and found in
the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Spreading the gospel of Jesus
Christ with others has brought me more joy than anything else I've ever done in
my life. I am so grateful that Heavenly Father allowed me to serve His
children in this way. I look forward to seeing many of you again soon. If you
have any questions about the things I experienced on my mission and/or the
testimony I have shared today feel free to hit me up! I love you all and pray
that God will be with you.

Hey Elder Adams!Dad and I are driving the final leg home from Rexburg today and I just remembered it is Monday - aka Pday!!!Heidi got settled in her apartment over the weekend, met her new Ward yesterday, and today is her first day of classes. She is all grown up. 🥹🥲If I’m counting correctly - you have 4 weeks left in your mission. Make every day of them awesome! As always, you know your fans would love to hear from you - what you have been up to, recent scripture you have read and enjoyed, your testimony, etc.Speaking of sharing stuff - yesterday I read Elder Holland’s 2012 talkIt is soooo refreshing to read, I needed to hear it!!!!I hope you have a fabulous Pday - be so productive and get yo-self ready for another week to serve!I love you Cody!❤️, Madre
what's up friends and family!
time for another "weekly email woo-hoo!! I'm a slacker with these fr(sorry mother) but I'll keep trying lol. the last couple of weeks have been super sweet. our friend James ended up getting baptized which was sooo awesome! we also gotta go to the temple and ran a super dope hike the other p-day. one of the sickest hikes I've ever did and it was just like a lowkey 8 miler. other then we've been on the find grind fr.
cool little miracle, but the other day we were out knocking doors in this apartment complex and I wasn't feeling it so we decided to switch up locations. as we are walking to the car I felt really strongly we needed to knock one more door so I turned around looked at the apartments walked up to one and knocked one it. turns out the lady who lived there had just had some sort of surgery and she didn't have like any family or support and she was just in a ton of pain. so we said and prayer with her and prayed that she would feel comfort and God's love and the spirt was POWERFUL. it was super simple what happened, but it was just a testament to me of how mindful God is of His children. and it always is just so humbling to be an instrument in God's hand. despite my weaknesses and imperfections God was able to guide me to this lady to help her feel God's love. if we have a desire to serve others and just try then God will use us. I've seen this time and time again on my service as a missionary.
that's all she wrote! hope yall are doing well. peace and love.

Good Morning Elder Cody
good afternoon dad!
I hope you are having a great time with your new comp and loving Wenatchee
It was good to see you in the picture from the Ephrata Zone conf. Pres Sheffield seems like a good guy - i suppose, right? Do you have some friends progressing towards faith, repentance and baptism?
yep I am having a great time in wenatchee. President Sheffield seems super awesome. I have interviews w him tomorrow so that should be sweet. yeah our boy james got baptized yesterday which was really awesome. he's a stud and is just on fire rn.
It was fun to see briefly the other day, while we were at the K.
We will for sure have to catch a game with you sometime in 25.
yeah 100% we will have to go to the royals when I'm home.
Yesterday i had to speak in church -spoke on discipleship, covenants, being willing etc. i think it went well - it was good for me to do the study - so thankful for covenants that bring us strength and peace in this life and the reminder for me to be a better disciple was a great reminder
danggg wish I could've been there for that. I bet it went great. yes covenants are such a huge blessing. we got to go through the temple this last Wednesday which was sweet.
My sister Jamille and her husband Jeff are on their mission in Mc Allen Texas and our loving it - it makes me look forward to serving again with Madre someday
that's so cool Jeff and Jamile are serving! facts you and mom are gonna be killer missionaries some day. can't wait till I can serve with my wife....
I love you - continue to enjoy this time - serve faithfully - as you know it time is flying
love you too dad. yes I absolutely will!
Love dad

What up team! its been a sec:
lil update...
So I just made it to Wenatchee, Washington aka the
apple capital of the world. unbelievably stoked to be here and i am training
again so that's sweet. my comp is elder brock he is not the goat, but he fits
the description. we have a friend named james who is on date (to be baptized) for this sunday
and he is legitimately probably my favorite person I've ever taught. his life
has been super tough, but he is doing so good now and he is just embracing the
gospel with open arms. I'm so excited for him to be baptized on sunday! other
then that we are just getting to know the ward and the other friends we are
teaching. also also im going to try and be more consistent with these because i
have less then 6 months left. my lil sis aka the goat aka heidi is going to
keep me accountable so if I don't send one next week it's on her!
love you all hope life is treating you well!
