It was awesome being able to talk to y’all the day before the wedding! And then again on Thanksgiving! Something I learned though is that I could've called y’all on Tuesday, because a wedding is a major life event, and we are allowed to call on major life events! So if anyone else gets married while I am gone, we can keep that in mind haha. That is so awesome about being Young Women's President! I know you are going to do great things! That is cool that the girls who were your Beehives are now juniors and seniors! And that is great that Heidi is excited to have you in there with her!

Let's go! That is great news about the weighted blanket getting here today! And that is great that my watch charger will be here on Wednesday! Yeah, the candied nuts don't last super long. They would probably be good when I get them, but then I would have to eat them super fast haha! Maybe you could send some, but not as much as last time.  As far as what to send me for christmas, the only thing I can think of is my need for underwear haha. And more socks! Also, I have been looking at some boots online and maybe I can call you later and we can discuss them. They are kinda pricey, but another Elder bought a pair before the mission and has been using them for 3 years and they are holding up great! I will have a wonderful week and I will keep taking care of my health! I love you too!

p.s That is a great meme. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

November 7th, 2022

 Good morning Dad!

My new companion is Elder Wheeler. He's a missionary who came out with me! We actually talked quite a bit in the airport when I flew out here so I'm really excited to be his companion. We will get along just fine!

Elder Dell goes home tomorrow, but today at 5 I will drop him off at the mission home. It has definitely been a huge blessing having Elder Dell as my trainer. He taught me lots and helped me to get out of my comfort zone very quickly. While it is sad that he's leaving, his departure has really inspired me to be the best missionary I can be. He plans on visiting the mission and me at some point so I will see him again even before I go home!

Yeah that's Jose our recent convert! His full names Jose De Jesus Gutierrez Banales. That was a fun name to say on his baptismal day haha. It was pretty funny what he said, I think it was something like " Where's the farmer because I see nothing but goats in this picture?"

[From 10.31. 22 question about Halloween activities]: So after 6 we are going to have our district council like usual until 7:30. With Elder Dell being gone, the districts are combining together. Also because it's transfers week those who are leaving will sign people's transfer journals. After district council we are instructed to go to our apartments and not proselyte. President instructed us not to have a party or gather together as missionaries after district council. As far as our plans go earlier in the day, I'm assuming there will be some kind of party, but I don't know if I will go because Elder Dell and I might have other plans. Because it's his last p-day him and I are planning on doing whatever he wants until I drop him off at the mission home.

This last week has been awesome. Elder Dell and I put Tera and our boy Ivan on date!! We invited them last week and they both said maybe. We invited them to pray and said that we would follow up the next week. On Tuesday we showed up at Ivan's and put him on date for December 10th which is the last Saturday in this transfer and Elder Dells birthday! On Wednesday we put Tera on date for December 3rd! Turns out one of Tera's best friends is a member in Spokane who's strongly encouraging Tera to be baptized! So shout out to Norma (Tera's friend) cause I don't think we could've done it without her! As far as members go, we have a few really awesome members and the rest don't do a whole lot, but that's alright. We do get fed on a fairly regular basis which is much appreciated.

[About the new For the Strength of Youth Guide] Yeah I read it the other day actually and I really liked it. The set up is definitely exactly what we do as missionaries! {Share an eternal truth - invite to act on that truth by exercising faith with and then share with them the promised blessings} It's funny because I didn't even notice that when I read it, but know I'm like duh, haha.

Yes I will do my best and take care of my myself physically, mentally and spiritually!

Love you tons Dad! Thanks for being such a righteous example to me growing up.
