Good afternoon Madre!
Sorry I haven't reached out until now! We have a zone preparation day today and we have to follow a schedule whenever we have zone preparation day, so I haven't had a chance to reach out until now!
This week I have been feeling a lot better and I'm 100% over my sickness now which is great!
I have
temples on my mind 24/7 because the Moses Lake temple is a big deal out here!
Like non-members and members alike talk to us about it which is way cool! I
look forward to going again and I am confident I will be there at some point
this year when the Moses Lake temple is done!
Dang, I had not heard about Jadyn's dad. That must be tough for her and her family, but I am glad that the community is surrounding them with love. We've always had a great little community in Kearney. Whenever I hear about stuff like this happening it just reminds about how important it is to share our knowledge of the plan of salvation with others. On Sunday I actually gave a talk about the Plan of Salvation and on Friday we went over the Plan of Salvation with Rodney. Both those experiences really made me realize how amazing the Plan of Salvation is and increased my gratitude for it. Rodney is 83 years old and had never heard about the Plan of Salvation and it was amazing to see his excitement when he heard about it!
Rodney is doing amazing though! He just read Doctrine and Covenants and is absolutely on fire! Right now we are planning his baptismal service!
I've actually ripped up several carpets on the mission and it is oddly really fun to do, haha! I've also put down my fair amount of flooring so it's a shame I'm not there to help out! I received the picture you sent and it looks sweet! Also Heidi and her boys are so cute! I miss Harrison and I can't wait to meet Gideon! But no rush, haha.
I will have a great week! The prayers are felt and much appreciated! I love you Mom!
