February 21st, 2024

What is up friends and family! As far as I can tell it's been 6 whole months since I've written one of these. Yikes. Filling ya’ll in on every little thing that happened is obviously unrealistic so I'll highlight the important things. So first off last September I went home for medical reasons. I ended up spending three transfers or about 4 1/2 months at home before coming back out the first of this month. While home I pretty much just worked and went to the temple. Not a bad life. I was able to make some money and strengthen my relationship with Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. Being home for those few months was definitely not what I was planning on, but I know that Heavenly Father had a reason for it. Several actually. I definitely view the time at home as a blessing, plus I gotta be home for Thanksgiving and Christmas so that was pretty awesome. Gotta love the fam.

So like I said I came back out on Febuary 1st. It's so amazing to be back, but still lowkey feels surreal. I'm serving in Leavenworth, Washington with Elder Giauque (pronounced juke). The ward is actually awesome. Our area definitely could use some work, but it has a lot of potential. One guy we're working with that I'm pretty hyped about is this dude named Isaac. Isaac's dad was baptized a little over a year ago and now Isaac wants too as well. It's been super fun working with him and he asks such deep questions. Especially for a 14 year old. He doesn't have a date set for his baptism yet, but he is praying about it right now and I'm sure it'll be sometime soon. We have a few other friends we are teaching, but mainly we've just been finding and doing member visits. The members here are super awesome and are always trying to feed us. One of the families I actually baptized the mom's step-dad earlier in my mission so that was a pretty cool connection.

So I'll definitely try and be consistent with these from here on out (I still have about 10 months because none of my time at home counted), but no guarantees lol.

I love you all and hope life is treating you well!
